Science at the Root of Growth
AGTIV AMPLIFY® combines beneficial Bacillus bacteria and mycorrhizae to support stronger, more resilient plants. Bacillus stimulates early root development and supports plant establishment, while mycorrhizae extend the root system to enhance water and nutrient uptake. It’s a proven biological combination for growers looking to maximize plant potential and achieve consistent, high-performance results.

Should I water growing medium before I transplant a plant?
When transplanting a new plant into a growing medium, the medium must be watered thoroughly so that the medium can settle around the plant's roots. Otherwise, there will be large air pockets around the roots, and the growing medium may be too dry to allow the roots to develop from the existing root ball. Therefore, enough water should be added during the first watering to keep the area around the root ball moist. In general, this means watering from the top and continuing to water until the water comes out of the drainage holes at the bottom of the container. With each successive watering, you can apply less volume, but if you squeeze a handful of the mixture and only one drop of water comes out, the PRO-MIX® may require more water application.
What pH should my water be?
The pH of the water has no influence on the pH of the growing medium. What does change your growing medium's pH are the bicarbonates in the water. Basically, the fertilizer must be matched to the water and the plant, and you will have more success growing the crop than if you try to set the pH of the water to a specific value and hope that the pH of the growing medium stays within the normal range of 5.7-6.2 when growing in peat-based growing media.
